As a community response around identity and language, the centre of 'Reclaiming our Narratives', the AGSM and Brandon Pride will be hosting a talk and a workshop by Marin Curtis, with the support of Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (BNRC) for funding this event. 


The Talk

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Online & In-person

During this part, Curtis will address what the politicized body is, the responsibilities of this body, and how art can be used to respond to hateful politics. 


Translating Feelings into Art

5:30 PM | In-person (registration required)

Curtis will explain different primary techniques for folks to transfer their feelings into art. Participants can expect to learn how to apply design fundamentals using an idea as an application basis. The AGSM will provide some materials; however, we encourage participants to bring the mediums or supplies of their preference.
