Sculpting Techniques in Clay (CANCELLED)

Learn techniques to sculpt in clay, using animals as the starting point of your inspiration. This class is a great introduction for those wishing to explore animal sculpture, realism, and imaginary or figurative sculpture. Learn methods to sculpt from life and create 3D forms in clay. Creating realistic proportions and life-like textures will be shown, as well as a variety of surface treatments. This class will develop your hand building skills as you learn to construct with clay on a large scale, and open your imagination to new possibilities in your artwork.
