My Brandon is an upcoming exhibition in collaboration with the City of Brandon that will be on display in the Kayes Community Gallery at the AGSM from April 25 to June 1, 2024.
In early 2021 the AGSM and Brandon Tourism hosted an open call for the exhibition i {heart} Brandon, asking our community simply, what is it that you love about this city of ours? It was so popular that we are excited to revive it, this time in collaboration with the City of Brandon on the occasion of their new 30-year vision.
Following the three themes laid out in the Brandon City Plan — Healthy, Moving and Growing — this year’s call for art asks: What does your Brandon have to look forward to?
In addition to the public exhibition, prizes will be awarded in Adult, Youth, and Audience Choice categories.
The AGSM reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is deemed offensive, pejorative, or otherwise inappropriate.
