On Thursday, May 4, 2017, the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba will be hosting another extraordinary art-filled evening with our annual Art Auction and Dinner. Last year, attendees and sponsors helped make our biggest annual fundraising event an incredible success. This year, we hope to entertain you with an Intergalactic Gala (May the Fourth be with you!). The gala will include live music, roving performances, a costume contest, interstellar photobooth, lively conversation, fine dining and, of course, the wonderful art created by artists in this region and from across the country – an evening sure to be out-of-this-world!
The Art Auction and Dinner is our most popular event of the year. All proceeds support the AGSM’s education and outreach, including the children’s scholarship fund. Annually, our art classes and workshops are attended by over 3,500 children, teens, and adults, helping them to discover art and all of the joy and empowerment of creating something with their own hands.
