The Free Flow Artist Collective began meeting in 2023, motivated by a simple proposition: sharing your art makes it better. Members must bring something new to each meeting for the group to look at, and while the round table takes the form of a critique, the artworks fuction as an entry point into discussion about much more.
In one another, members of the collective find confidence, curiosity, and (perhaps most importantly) motivation to keep creating. Each piece in this exhibition is in dialogue with others. While some are literal collaborations where multiple hands joined in the making, others are inspired by a prompt, a turn of phrase, or a way of thinking. Some were made simply because the artist heard the powerful words, “This is great, keep going.”

Featuring work by Amy Buehler, Jean David, Doug Derksen, Katie Dorn, Alysha Farrell, Doug Fraser, Sherry Helwer, Ritchie Jacobson, Tara Leach, Nicole Myker, Curt Shoultz, Anita Vermaak, Irene Way, and Weiming Zhao.
