It has been four long years since the AGSM held its long-running art auction fundraiser, so we are delighted to announce that it will be returning in 2024! On the evening of Thursday, May 9th, the Blossoming Moon Art Auction will take place at the Dome Building on the Brandon Exhibition Grounds. The event’s theme reflects on ideas of renewal, resurgence, and emergence, as the first moon of the growing season begins to shine its light.

In addition to the silent and live auctions, you will be treated to drinks, dinner, and dessert. Knowledge Keeper Debbie Huntinghawk will speak on a teaching about Grandmother Moon and dancing with a fiddle performance by the popular Métis Prairie Steppers will happen throughout the evening.

This is more than a fundraiser—it is a showcase of arts and culture in Westman, a social gathering, and an opportunity for reciprocal giving between guests, volunteers, staff, and artists of all kinds.

Tickets are $100.00 and include a meal option of meat or vegetarian. Please let us know if there are any food allergies or preferences we should be aware of when you purchase your ticket.
