Paint to music, explore colourful landscapes using pastels and paint, do a portrait of your pet along with creating shadow puppets, dioramas and more in this week of creative afternoons.
Afternoons will feature:
• Color explosion— Through oil pastel and paint students will learn how to use painting techniques and mix colors to create expressive landscapes, pet portraits, picture of people in motion and massive abstractions.
• Create a Scene and Big is Small — Using anime themes, students will explore
how sculptures can be used to tell a story by constructing shadow puppets and performing a short play. Then, they will construct and photograph dioramas to learn how small things can be made to appear big.
