Step through a portal into a world of magic and mystery in this exciting multi-media art week! Participants will explore the fascinating world of mythological creatures and cryptids such as Cyclops, Mothman, Dragons, and Centaurs—the half-human, half-horse beings of Greek mythology. Although these creatures do not exist in reality, they have inspired human culture, storytelling, and art for centuries. Through painting, drawing, and mixed media projects, students will bring their own legendary beings to life, perhaps one that could become folklore itself while learning creative art techniques and exploring imaginative storytelling.
