In this course Métis Crafter/Artisan Verna Demontigny will introduce participants to crafting mitts using traditional materials. Students will go through the step-by-step process of planning and manufacturing a pair of leather cuffed mitts. Techniques for measuring, pattern planning, cutting, sewing, and basic decorative methods will be taught and explored. Most materials supplied.
