Explore pure expression in the art of abstraction and discover what art can do beyond representation. In this course, students will learn how mark and gesture can communicate volumes, and explore painting, exercises, and lessons that will help build good composition in their work. Class critiques and lectures will be ongoing throughout the session to help students find
success in this mysterious painting genre.
