In this course, participants will learn the ins and outs of drypoint intaglio, a technique first developed in Germany in the 1400’s for reproducing artwork for printing.
Students will explore this method through introduction of tools, plate preparation, drawing transfer, inking, paper preparation, and press use.
Finishing techniques such as colouring, along with the proper methods of edition labeling, will aid students in bringing their prints to completion.
