This week’s drawing course is for artists at any level who want to deepen their understanding of how drawings communicate by building content through line, value, and composition. Using pencil, conté, ink, and collage, participants will explore how the elements and principles of art shape what a drawing does, not just how it looks.
Each session combines hands-on projects with group critiques, to build skills and critical awareness and that culminates in a large-scale final project that synthesizes earlier work into a resolved drawing, allowing participants to translate the process into intention.
