Creating Handmade Tiles (FULL)

This class will look at the exciting process of tile making for architectural purposes and decorative wall applications. Tile types and creation such as press moulded, relief, slab, and interlocking will be explored through demonstration and class projects. Technical information on clays, glaze, surface treatment, and installation methods will be looked at during the class as students work on their tile projects.

Prerequisite: basic clay knowledge
