SEURAT AND COLOUR

Georges-Pierre Seurat is best known for devising the painting technique of Pointillism: the method of painting with small dots of colour to form an image. This 3-week course will look at Pointillism’s influence on how colour is interpreted by the eye. Students will put theory to practice by creating their own piece inspired by Seurat.
