Connect with Art This Summer at the AGSM through an activity you can take part in at home!

The AGSM invites you to create a piece of art in response to the works of Shelley Niro presented in A Good, Long Look. Artwork submitted will be displayed in the AGSM’s Community Gallery until the end of August.

Find Inspiration in Shelley Niro’s Exhibition A Good, Long Look by applying the exhibition’s themes of positivity, beauty, self reflection, and honouring family. Community members are encouraged to create artwork using images of yourself, family, friends, and places that together form a positive, comfortable environment.

To submit artwork to “Beauty is the Wanted Feature Here”, fill out the Google Form here. Deadline is July 31, 2021.

After completing the Google Form, artists have the option to send a high quality image of their artwork to [email protected], or arrange a time to drop off their artwork at the AGSM by calling our front desk at (204) 727-1036.

If you need to print out images or make photocopies of photographs to create your collage, please let us know. We are happy to help and provide you with free copies!
