What is a docent anyway?
A docent is an Art Gallery-trained volunteer who leads audiences on educational, interactive tours of Gallery exhibitions. As a docent, you will learn to guide visitors of all ages - from children to adults.  

Who can become a docent?
Anyone – teen to senior citizen – can become a docent.

Donations

The support you give to The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba through your donation helps ensure the continuation of the high-quality exhibitions and programs, which have enriched the cultural life of our community since 1907.Nearly 30% of the AGSM’s budget is derived from fundraising efforts: special events, the Gallery Gift Shop, studio programs, memberships and donations.Donations can be made to general gallery operations or to specific areas such as Art School, School Programs or the Madeline Perry Scholarship fund.

• Supporter $100

• Patron $200

• Sponsor $250

• Contributor $500

• Benefactor $1000+

• Corporate Benefactor $1000+
